There is a great app called “Readly”. You pay a fixed price and get unlimited access to a lot (hundreds) of German magazines, as well as magazines from Austria, Switzerland, the UK and USA amongst more countries.

readly.com or search for the app in the App Store of your device.

I use it on an iPad and have tried it on a Kindle Fire, and it works very well. You can even do most of the crossword puzzles 🙂

Interesting! Is it primarily for grown-ups or for kids (or both)?

Tani: Most magazines are for adults but they also have some kids magazines (from magazines for smaller kids with animals, etc. to magazines for young adults, such as the Bravo I believe).
We all have our own profile so my favorites don’t get mixed with my child’s.

Better get online for the Goethe Institut online library (elibrary). Everything free!

Another gem is Kinderbooks in NYC. It’s like a Netflix for German children’s books located in NY. You book a certain package and then you can get 2-4 books per months. They are being mailed to your house with a return envelope. You can keep them for as long as you like but you only get new ones when you have returned the old books.
